The trunk/liftgate lock service requires the first step to remove the back door garnish center after which follows removal of the back door side garnish LH and RH before proceeding to remove the back door trim board assembly. Remove the components of the back door lock assembly as the last step. The installation procedures follow the reverse sequence of the removal process while any unspecified bolt torques can be found in the standard bolt chart.
