After attaching the starter wire with the nut you must tighten it to 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf). Then install the terminal cap followed by connecting the starter connector. Fasten the starter cable to the negative battery terminal after its installation is complete. The system demands an initialization step which must be executed following disconnection and reconnection of the cable to the negative battery terminal.
